Quantum entropy of the Kerr black hole arising from gravitational perturbation
نویسنده
چکیده
The quantum entropy of the Kerr black hole arising from gravitational perturbation is investigated by using Null tetrad and ’t Hooft brick-wall model. It is shown that the effect of the graviton’s spin to the entropy is dependent of the square of the spin and the angular momentum per unit mass of the black hole, and contribution of logarithm term to the entropy will be positive, zero, and negative for different a/r+. Quantum Entropy of Charged Rotating Black Holes
For more than two decades physicists have come to appreciate black holes as thermodynamic systems characterized by only a few macroscopic parameters such as mass (m), charge (q) and angular momentum (Ω). The generic representative of such a hole in general relativity is the Kerr-Newman metric . The thermodynamic analogy suggests that there is an entropy associated with this hole that is proport...
متن کاملKerr/CFT Correspondence in the Low Energy Limit of Heterotic String Theory
We investigate the recently proposed Kerr/CFT correspondence in the context of heterotic string theory. The Kerr/CFT correspondence states that the near-horizon states of an extremal four (or higher) dimensional black hole could be identified with a certain chiral conformal field theory under the conjecture that the central charges from the non-gravitational fields vanish. The corresponding Vir...
متن کاملSolve spheroidal wave functions by SUSY method ∗
In the paper, we study the spin-weighted spheroidal wave functions in the case of s = m = 0. Their eigenvalue problem is investigated by the perturbation method in supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSYQM). For the ground state, the first three terms of ground eigenvalue and eigenfunction in parameter α = aw are obtained. The obtained ground eigenfunction is elegantly in closed forms. Due to th...
متن کاملThe Euclidean Gravitational Action as Black Hole Entropy, Singularities and Spacetime Voids
We argue why the static spherically symmetric (SSS) vacuum solutions of Einstein’s equations described by the textbook Hilbert metric gμν(r) is not diffeomorphic to the metric gμν(|r|) corresponding to the gravitational field of a point mass delta function source at r = 0. By choosing a judicious radial function R(r) = r + 2G|M |Θ(r) involving the Heaviside step function, one has the correct bo...
متن کاملSearch for black hole ringdown signals in LIGO S4 data
The final state of a compact binary coalescence is expected to be a perturbed black hole which will radiate away the perturbations as gravitational waves. At late times, the distorted black hole will be sufficiently similar to a Kerr black hole [1] that black hole perturbation theory can be used to model the waveforms [2]. These ringdown waveforms are a superposition of quasi-normal modes, the ...
